Common issues
- I’m not receiving my sign-in code
- Sign-in codes are sent by emailby default. Confirm the email on the sign-in screen matches the one on your account (or the address your organizer invited), and check your spam/junk folder. Codes expire after 15 minutes; if nothing arrives, request a new one. If you’ve opted into SMS and chose “text me instead,” make sure the mobile number matches the one on file — carrier filtering can take 30–60 seconds; reply HELP for a status reply or STOP to opt out of SMS.
- I can’t see an event I should have access to
- Events on The Tartan are invitation-only. If you believe you should have access to an event but don’t see it in your dashboard, contact the event’s organizer directly — they manage the player roster and we are not able to grant access on their behalf.
- I’m not receiving notifications
- The Tartan sends notifications through three channels: in-app inbox, SMS, and (when the iOS app is installed) push. If SMS is silent, check that you haven’t replied STOP in the past; reply START to re-opt-in. If push is silent on iOS, check Settings → Notifications → The Tartan and confirm Allow Notifications is on.
- I think a sheet entry is wrong
- The Sheet is an append-only ledger, so entries aren’t edited in place. If a counterparty hasn’t confirmed yet, you can void the entry yourself from the entry detail. If it’s already confirmed, ask your event admin to amend or void it — both actions are recorded in the audit log.
Manage your account
You can edit your display name, email, and phone number any time from your profile. The Tartan stores no payment details, no Social Security number, and no government ID.
To delete your account and history: email support@calverda.com with the subject line “Privacy — account deletion request” from the email address on file. We complete deletions within 30 days; once removed, your player record, ledger entries, wagers, and history are erased and cannot be recovered. Aggregate financial totals attributable to your event will remain in your event’s admin records for the organizer’s books, with your name redacted.
